A Green Public Transport Crashed Into an UNAND Bus

A green angkot route on the Pasar Raya-Andalas
University campus (Unand) with a BA 1806 QU police number hit the UNAND bus number 05 on the UNAND road to the Padang
State Polytechnic (PNP) on Wednesday (12/12/2018).
This accident resulted the UNAND bus number 5 being
damaged in the front, while the green public transport suffered severe damage
on the right side.
Met one of the Genta Andalas reporter,the driver UNAND
bus number 05, Agus Salman explained that the bus he was driving was hit by an
angkot from the opposite direction. "Around 10 o'clock, I drove a bus that
only filled three passengers from the Polytechnic. Suddenly from the opposite
direction, a public transport turned right and crashed into the front of the
bus, "he explained. In fact, he also claimed that the bus also did not
drive at high speed.
Previously, it was alleged that the public transport
driver was sleepy. However, the public transport driver, irfan, denied the
statement. He said he was not sleepy, but his car lost control. He had tried to
avoid the bus in front of him, but the public transportation cannot be
controlled.
“The bus is visible from afar. Suddenly the steering
wheel was empty. If we turn the steering wheel, the tires should be also
rotate. But, it suddenly couldn’t be controlled”,he said ehen interviewed at
UNAND Hospital on Wednesday (12/12/2018).
Irfan added, public transportation drove at a speed of
20km/hour because of the climbing road.
The police at the location confiscated the documents
of the vehicle that had the accident. Ulfa, one of the police said that to
resolve this problem depends on both sides.
