Enthusiastic of UNAND Students Attending The Seminar


Monday, 22 October 2018. Seminar is a form of academic instruction, either at an academic institution or offered by a commercial or professional organization.It has the function of bringing together small groups for recurring meetings, focusing each time on some particular subject, in which everyone present is requested to participate. This is often accomplished through an ongoing socratic dialogue with a seminar leader or instructor, or through a more formal presentation of research. It is essentially a place where assigned readings are discussed, questions can be raised and debates can be conducted.

Andalas University is one of the campus that holds many seminar activities and supports these activities. So that UNAND students don't just get knowledge in class but they also get knowledge outside of lecture activities. Even this activity was also supported by students from Unand itself. Enthusiastic students seemed to attend seminar seminars on campus. In October 2018 Andalas University was filled with several seminar events, both national and international seminars. One of student from the Andalas Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Department of English Literature, namely Hikmatul Hijrah Army, said that this seminar was one of the activities that was very useful for students like him. "The seminar is organized by certain parties who help to motivate students, increase knowledge and increase knowledge exploitation depending on the seminar organizer",She said. and also the wisdom of speculating that students especially attend all seminars held at Andalas University, because according to wisdom it is very useful for students. Like the seminar he just attended, the seminar became a translator delivered by Mr. Anton (10/22) at the faculty of cultural sciences where the seminar was related to his own department, namely English Department.


The types of seminars that interest Andalas students are very diverse. like hikma who likes seminars that can motivate students like it. Unlike one of the Public Administration majors, Ina, he prefers seminars that are not boring for students. "In my opinion, the seminars that are in demand are seminars that are not rigid, there can be comedy in them, and invite someone who is famous like an artist who can inspire students both academically and non-academically" he said.

It can be said that generally UNAND students are very enthusiastic in attending campus seminar seminars. Because, many benefits are obtained in seminars, both in academic and outside academic.

A Green Public Transport Crashed Into an UNAND Bus

The condition of green public transport that was badly damaged on the UNAND road to PNP on Wednesday (12/12/2018).   (Photo: Yashirli Mulyadi) A green angkot route on the Pasar Raya-Andalas University campus (Unand) with a BA 1806 QU police number hit the UNAND   bus number 05 on the UNAND road to the Padang State Polytechnic (PNP) on Wednesday (12/12/2018). This accident resulted the UNAND bus number 5 being damaged in the front, while the green public transport suffered severe damage on the right side.
